Vietnam veteran walking 2,300 miles to thank comrades in arms

Those who say they support American troops and the sacrifices they make for country should walk a mile in Al Slusser's shoes.

"I'm not raising money, just recognition for their service, what they've done and what they do. They put their lives on hold, their families and dreams, and put their lives on the line for this country."

Stories have appeared in publications across the country about Slusser's lone journey, and a CBS affiliate recently featured him on a newscast as he made his way through West Palm Beach.

Slusser is quick to add he's hardly ever alone.
