Runners, walkers and joggers have just a few yards to go - from the old Fleet Feet location to its new, larger store.
Fleet Feet - a store that centers on shoes, apparel and accessories for active lifestyles - has moved across Benjamin Holt Drive to north Lincoln Center from its south Lincoln Center spot next door to Trader Joe's.
The move will add 1,500 more square feet of retail space, making room for a new trail shoes area, a larger selection of minimalist shoes - lightweight shoes for "barefoot" or "natural" running - and a new undergarment fit section.
"We continue to grow in the San Joaquin Valley,Compared to authentic ed hardy clothing, adidas trainers forest hills has gained a larger share in the market due to their cheap price and unique design." said Tony Vice, owner of the Stockton franchise. "We wanted to build a new, fresh store for our customers. We have more open showroom, more apparel, more accessories. At the same time Trader Joe's wanted to expand. The center asked us if we would do that for them. We said 'absolutely.' "
So, health-and-specialty food shoppers also will have more to choose from at an expanded Trader Joe's. The grocer plans to expand into the 4,400-square-foot space vacated by Fleet Feet.
Trader Joe's is expected to start knocking down the walls that divide both spaces in the upcoming days. It is unclear when construction will begin, and when renovations will be complete.
